I tried fishing with my feet in the water from the shore of the Penang sea. The feeling was wonderful. There was the sound of the waves, the wind and the rod;casting and reeling. Even the mind stood still seeing nothing ahead beyond the darkness in the sky. Dawn came. Colour seeped into everything dark. The beauty was in watching the dark sky turned blue and the leaves of trees turned green. The most beautiful thing I've seen in. Everything became prettier than usual. It could also be because I was just sleep deprived by that time and moving about in my zombie mode. I'm just really glad that on the last day of the year, I wasn't home in bed, missing this God given nature and waking up to noon.

I didn't think my inefficiency to prioritize would jeopardize my relationships. I guess I could have seen it coming-how I don't bother much about maintaining friendships or how LDR works so well with me. I hope to learn from this and won't turn out to be that person in the movies who's love life don't work out due to work. They become lonely and die alone in the end. Someone recently asked me why I'm always so busy and we both agreed in the end that it takes one busy person so the others can sit and warm up chairs. Well, it's much easier when one's not down with bad flu or if one's not too ambitious nor dedicated. Just too bad that I am.

This week, I'll be busy with the preparations for exams and Operation Gecko. That's right! Finals are this week and lotsa people are looking forward to the-party-to-end-all-parties. Can't let them down. I still can't imagine the day but I'll be chewing on my toe nails nearer to the date.

Meanwhile, remember the documentary project I was talking about in my previous post (if anyone actually reads)?

It is far from finish but we have a brief poster and publicity has already begun for this one. I hope this turns out well. My director is very optimistic about this project.

We've just begun editing two weeks ago and was expected to finish by yesterday but progress got delayed due to all the unexpected converting and computer problems. Rupesh, my director and lecturer was hoping he could send this in for a Film Festival in India by this week. I'm just glad he changed his mind after realizing I have finals and not to mention, it's my busiest weeks due to Operation Gecko, the assignments and presentations.

I can't wait for things to fall into place. I know Gadiy's been planning my holiday with his bunch but right now, I don't even see that happening.

Oh, and I also have to think about where to spend my Christmas and New Year. Bintulu or Penang?

I spent some time with Gadiy, Kingston, & Darryl after our half day job touring the colourful Jonker street and getting lost finding the crispy "highly-recommended-by-Darryl" pork shop. Won't forget that day especially the tale of this lady with Man U on her boobs (which I mistakenly heard as 'menu on her boobs'). It is too bad we had not much time to pay her a visit and explore more of Melacca. I would love to go there again and next time to shop in some of the boutiques I missed. <3 Jonker street.

My newest project I'm working on is a documentary under the direction of my lecturer.

It will be involving 3 main subjects: Africans, Indians, and monks living in Malaysia; their cultural similarities and differences. I wish I could state a clearer view of the director's vision but I don't. So for now, I'm just going with the flow. Whatever is, I have a good feeling about this.

For today's shoot, we went to the Sri Jayanthi Buddhist Temple in Sentul. I must say that it was an amazing experience. I learned so much about Buddhism as I sat there listening to the interviews conducted. It affirms my way of life and how I think.

Game of chess. Part of my job during the weekend.

Back from Langkawi. Exhausted but happy.

I crashed on the beanbag in college today and I was caught snoring. That was a first they say. If that wasn't embarrassing enough, later in the evening, I sat in the bus and missed my stop. When I woke up, I was back at the same place when I boarded. Embarrassed, so I got down, went to the loo, came out and sat there for awhile just stoning, digesting the whole incident. In the end, I just took a cab to my car instead.

I've never been so tired in the day. Yar... I still can't believe I overslept in a bus. Aargh! It's so unlikely of me. It's like karma for laughing at others.

Well, I pray it NEVER happens again. I would give up waiting for the bus.

p/s. I hope I didn't snore in the bus.

2 nights in a row a raced to finish assignment so I'm pretty mentally drained and although I have slept long enough to catch up on deprived sleep over the weekend, I still feel like those hours isn't enough.

There was a shoot at home earlier this afternoon for a local magazine program--a mock Deepavali celebration for an episode on Deepavali to be aired at the end of this month. You can catch me in the background. I'll be 'pretending' to eat or serve food. Sadly, I don't think I know anyone who watches the program, so pointless mentioning the name.

The entire shoot went well although it took so long. I guess the best part was getting to meet the people behind the scene. They were a really nice bunch of crew. Talking to the producer sorta ignited my interest getting into the film industry all over again.

My options just keep expanding. It's not a bad thing I hope.

Anyway, there's so much to do when the sun rises later. I'll be away again this weekend for work. Thursday's all I have for house chores and assignments. Sigh. I don't see myself resting till Monday but I foresee I'm gonna love the weekend job more than the previous.

Tonight's Film Festival by HELP, put together by the Multimedia Society was awesome. It was at Palate Palette. Can't thank and congratulate the guys enough for an amazing job. Me so proud of our president, Will.

Now that THAT's over, I'm looking forward to this Friday's Social....and Saturday's RFL. Just 2 more days to go!

Week 5 of uni.

Over the weekend, I had little sleep, traveled on the road quite a bit and earned some extra pocket money. I also treated myself some really good buy of clothes. The dodgy mall in Prai - I am so going there again. The weekend job was enjoyable but energy draining. I think I did more than all the years of my house chores combined!

On the way back, the bus tyre punctured and I found out that I have an assignment due the following day. At the same time, I agreed to help (or just to kaypo) my aspiring filmmaker friends with filming. It was done at Boardgame Depot, Bangsar--really nice there btw!) I finished my assignment in the midst of their filming and ended up playing Catan with the others instead. That's today. I had a great time with the bunch.

Now I'm home, worrying about another little assignment that's due tomorrow. Tomorrow night, there's Help INTERNATIONAL Film Festival.

ok. It's not really HELP's 3rd International Film Fest nor is there a HELP International. It simply means the 3rd Film Fest organized by HELP (*ahem* the Multimedia Society) but this time with some international films to be screened.

I feel like I should extend an invitation to my family. Not sure if they would want to go all the way to that part of KL when there's school tomorrow. Ugh! It sucks when all your cousins are way younger than you. Anyway, I'll be there at Palate Palette tomorrow--having a good time, for sure.

This weekend, there's Social at Uni and Relay for Life in Penang which I am looking forward to. Social would be the first that the council is organizing and I'll be emceeing at this year's RFL. Can't wait for both! It has been awhile.. I hope I have not lost my mojo.

Anyway, I should get my rest now. I hope I don't find out about more assignments this week. Anymore on my plate and I shall wish I never wake up till this week is over.

I can't sleep till my diy french manicure dries. Meanwhile, I keep looking at my nails wondering if they match my red and brown saree which I'll be wearing for an Indian wedding tomorrow. The more I look at my nails, the more I think it matches! Whatever is, i think that the French manicure is the most versatile nail style to go with anything you wear. A little too late to be fickle now, am I?

So this Indian wedding I'll be attending tomorrow is at 9 in the morning. However, for vanity's sake, I'll be up by 5 in the morning. This is the wedding of my cousin's cousin. Nope, not even a tad bit awkward to say, I don't know them personally--really. Indians! It got me thinking.. I would so hate to see more than half my guests are strangers or friends of my relatives but that is probably the case with most weddings anyway but I shan't complain because I get the opportunity to dress up looking my most Indian. Not once but twice just this weekend.

Even if I have to plaid and put Jasmine on my hair, I would so do it!

Hello all!

I'm back from my holiday in Penang, all refreshed and ready to take on four new subjects this semester in uni. I love my new uni schedule. I have Fridays free and on top of that no classes in the late evening. The only thing missing are the people I use to hang out with in uni. Many have gone for their internships and my remaining friends seem to be more scattered these days. I rarely spend time at the Small room anymore. Yes, I emo sedikit. Even the thought that I'm almost done with studying. My, my.. time flies. I'm already in my third year, 2nd semester??

I'm anxious. Always wondering what I'll be doing around this time next year. I'm already looking out for internships and places to work at. I just need to polish my resume and maybe my nails and I'll be all set for my first interview. Gosh, I'm excited! Looking forward to leave this student life I've become accustomed to.

But first, to complete my thesis and four more subjects. For someone who seems pretty lifeless (by lifeless I mean someone who does what seems like nothing else besides college in the day and sleep at night), I actually have a lot on my plate. Sometimes I don't know where to start. The top or the bottom? Side or maybe the middle? just dig in?? I'll figure it out.

Right now, I'm just happy to be back in uni. There's the social night, annual, Halloween, and a film festival to look forward to and I already have a date for most of these events :)

A week to go then I'm back in uni.

I'm trying to make the most out of my time here in Penang. But looks like i'm underachieving again. There's so many things I want to do. Just being over ambitious again!

But hey, 2 out of 7 on my list of things to do are almost completed.

My volunteer job is going good but I really wish I can be more productive at work without thinking of other things like uni quarter the time.

The couple of things I've done so far have been easy. I have learnt a fair bit. My colleagues are really nice people.

My bff is leaving for Canada this Friday. It's happening so fast. It hasn't sunk it yet that I won't be seeing her in a really long time. <3

My entire 9th July was spent monitoring the rally from home through independent media, reading BERSIH feeds on Twitter, going back and forth between MalaysiaKini, Mobtv.my and Youtube. I didn't bother listening to what's on tv.

The act of thousands of Malaysians was better heard through those who were there first hand at the scene.

When they dispersed, BERSIH stories were told and it still is trending even 24hours after the rally. I'm just so touched by what I read.

One of the comment from this video was from a guy who stated how he was very much against the first Bersih in 2007 because he didn't have internet access. Every information he got was from the mainstream media which is one sided, pro-gov. He said "tapi sekarang saya buka minda cari info dari semua sumber Alhamdulillah. Kini saya sokong BERSIH 100%! Hidup rakyat!". Media would no longer be as effective a tool for the ruling government in due time with this awareness.

It made me realize how important it is for all Malaysians to see this.

Malaysians are already getting better at distinguishing truth from lies and are getting intolerable to the chunk of lies.

So yeah, I'm all for BERSIH and I can't wait to vote.

Too many distraction for a night when I am supposed to be studying for finals.

I'm once again disappointed with the government of this country. Tomorrow, somewhere in Kuala Lumpur, the streets will be filled with groups of men in Yellow, Red, and martial arts suit. Roads have already been blocked around KL, hotels are raided, and jam has built up even here in PJ where a talk by an opposition leader is going on while I stay home tonight in my Yellow shirt.

I don't understand:

#1 why can't everyone just let the Bersih people do the morning walk they want to do so peacefully. Don't be so rustic lah. There is actually such a thing as a peaceful demonstration.

#2 why the taichi. Dear PM just washed his hands clean and let the Police decide on whether the demonstrations should or not be permitted;

#3 why has the King has been puppet-ed.;

#4 how we chose our leaders. Yes, I must not forget that the elections have been faulty. BN could have lost in the past elections not for their cheap tricks;

#5 why isn't anyone ordering Dominos pizza at this hour. Traffic jam=free pizzas.

Anything can happen tomorrow. Maybe they'll be more jam tomorrow so everyone can get more free pizzas. Maybe May 13 will happen again. Maybe if I wash my car and do laundry, I might get stopped by the cops cause I BERSIH. Maybe.. but I'll still have my exams on Monday and shit in my pants on Tuesday.

Well, I've decided to join the three quarter of Malaysians who don't give a lemonade about what's going on and Malaysians who care too much for their country but know they can't do shit but to vote for the right person(not party, mind you) at the elections. Meanwhile, I shall sit home, study, read my live feeds on 9th July, shake leg, get bitten by mosquitoes and stay frustrated and agitated.

Welcome to a whole new semester. In my third and final year. I got back from a memorable holiday in Penang. I've never seen so much of Penang in my entire 10 years of living there. My only regret was not taking the time to sit by the beach in the evening or to wake up to watch the sunrise.

Hello from Penang!

My Holy Week's been good; meaningful this year nonetheless. It started with Palm Sunday. I had almost forgotten how long the readings are. When it came to the chanting of the Psalm, that one tune I was familiar with kept repeating in my head. Good old days with the choir.

I missed Maundy Thursday. I could blame the rain or Bieber who clearly caused it or Gadiy who decided to install software on my laptop or my laptop for taking too long but instead, I’ll just blame myself for not keeping up with time more efficiently. By the time I got home, I was also too tired to go for adoration. I made it for Good Friday mass after spending the whole afternoon in the car compiling my last assignment for this semester. The sudden rain had kept me in the car for a while, stuck in a jam wishing I had gone for mass at that hour, 3pm. I attended mass at 6pm instead. By then, the sky gradually grew dark but I was happy I made it. Went over to PJGH after mass with Gadiy to watch Bruce Kuhn where he performed a monologue on the Gospel of Luke. I kept yawning away but he was entertaining enough to keep me awake. That was the end of my Great Friday.

Sacred Triduum masses. My favourite masses throughout the year. It's like a journey taken with Christ to know Him, not just knowing about Him, through the liturgies. It’s so spiritual. Peaceful. Makes being Christian more meaningful..:)

Looks like I’ll be attending Easter mass here. I heard IC Church has changed drastically. I can’t wait to see the new IC.

In the process of recording, Dan was caught talking to himself for a while and I, in my most ungraceful ways.

It's been one of my craziest weeks. I had 3 assignments due in one day. A publication design, a short film, and a 5 minutes segment of a 30 minutes script, the script itself for broadcast. I could not imagine the end of my day had I not even one of my assignments close to done. If my workload had a physical weight, I could have died, buried under the piles of it. I stayed in the studio till night trying to finish editing my film. I was frustrated so many times but I had Gadiy to keep me sane. Thank God!

I contributed nothing to my group for publication design except for the masthead banner which I designed sometime ago. Daniel took the workload for design. Phew! We also needed materials for our Publication design assignment and so thank God for Jeremy, a friend and photographer. What easier way than to feature your own friend in your work! Gadiy not only helped with editing film but he also took pictures of Jeremy for the design assignment.

As for my broadcast assignment, all we had a partial shooting script, PARTIAL. We needed a place to record my interview with Daniel and we did it, on the floor this time. Jeremy came in to help. Andy helped me with my other broadcast assignment while I was busy in the studio finishing my script.

Things got super chaotic in the end. I was literally timed to get to the finishing line. It was intense.

Popping open a can of beer would have been my ideal way to mark my day's accomplishments but too bad, I had none with me. Despite all hecticness, I had amazing friends and that one person who stood by my side. I would have died without them, no joke. I feel fortunate. Thank you Jesus!

I was told I have no discipline for having breakfast at this hour. It was a while back when I sat at the dining table to have cereals. I was also enjoying my cup of green tea while texting a friend. Despite my chores lined up for today, I could not help but to use the extra hours I could in bed to catch up on my weekday's lack of sleep. I don't think the lack of propriety lies in my actions but rather in the remark I got. After all, last I recalled, it is still a Sunday. I may be slightly unhappy but I'm looking forward to complete my day :)

I've to get my car ready for my awesome weekdays ahead. It's week 11, come tomorrow. Assignments are piling up. I've presentations and shoots to do for my assignments. I feel a little bit more unorganized and incompetent since I lost my diary and my memory is failing me. However, despite knowing all that stress to come and life suckers I will face, I find myself at peace. I know God is with me in all that I do and all things are possible in His name.

Gadiy and I went hiking again this week. He's been a real motivator and an awesome partner to go hiking with. <3 Can't wait to tell Gerry that he's been replaced.

I had cramps in my butt AGAIN for the second time. I'm just enjoying the after affects of it now. I'm liking the pain- in my butt.

I shot the first scene of Scarlett today. It went well but right after, I ran low on battery.

Came home and crashed.

We shot Scene 1 of Scarlett today. Shot my first video of an intense making out scene. An uncomfortable sight I had gotten used to after shooting multiple takes of the same scene.

I had 3 main concerns before we began shooting; the casts, the camera, and the audio.

The 2 casts were already a couple so their transfusion of chemistry from off screen to on screen was almost effortless. Their first scene required them to make out and they did, without much hesitation. I had no idea how they pulled through it but I no longer had to worry about the acting in this scene. Phew!

My concern #2 was the camera. We used Ram's D90. I knew so little about the camera and it's functions. I only know good enough to cam-whore. When it came to angles, again, I only know good enough to cam-whore. We had no dolly so I wasn't sure how I was going to pan the camera steadily. My hands could have been more shaky but we had the tripod to weight the camera down. We got rid of the carpet and used Brandon's desk chair with wheels but the spaces in the tiles caused slight jerk to the movement each time the wheels rolled over them. But the shots turned out fine. I'm just hoping I have natural hidden editing skills when I start editing.

Last I worried about was the audio. We didn't have any external microphone. So having to rely on the built in mic, I had to take the shots as close to the scene. It worked!

We progressed little. Took us 3 hours to shoot a single scene but all went well. I'm looking forward to editing and I can't wait to see how it will turn out to be.

It was a quiet night. All we could hear was the ocean, the wind. All we could see were lights from faraway boats and each other under the dim yellow lights. All we could feel was the sand and the little space between us. By the beach we sat and had drinks. Then we sat by a grey brickwall and took pictures of us on timers. They were perfectly timed pictures. Perfect. We'd be at the lighthouse if there was even sunrise where we were at. I wanted to hold his hand. The Beatles would sing, I-wanna-hold-your-hand. I was eager but I was sober.

Barely was I asleep next to him on the couch but my eyes were closed to enjoy that still moment with him. He burped. I waved my hand across his face to push the air away. He tried to stop my hand, for a second there, our hands met. Awkward added to the existing silence.

Telling this story is even more awkward than how it felt back there but I'm writing this because this is a 'true story' as how he would say it.

We drove back to the city the following day. Made a stop at a cove. Under the sun, we sat on the rocks, by the sea. It was lovely.

True story and it's only just the beginning.

Good Lord! I'm here to rant. I have a wonder-fridge which can store anything for many many years. Anything that goes i\n has no expiry date. Not even a bar of chocolate which expired in 2006. BECAUSE IT'S KEPT IN A FRIDGE, dear Good Lord, it cannot go bad. It cannot go bad. Not even if you are now in year 2010 and today to be precise is December TWENTY-NINE, two thousand and TEN. It's a miracle indeed! My fridge is a miracle!

Dear good Lord, I pray that you open my eyes so i can see the plans not only by you, Lord, but the plans my mum has for all the content in her wonder fridge. They are not garbage, for they are food. My girl turned 16 in November, but the party wasn't till yesterday. The actual party was like a finale to a whole month of celebration. It was themed 'A Red Carpet Affair' decorated with black and gold.

Pretty? The backdrop I mean. lol.

Didn't quite turn out the way I wanted. It has 'Sweet Sixteen' and a custom logo all over it, only too small for the lens. Designed by yours truly.

The birthday girl of course was stunning that evening with her long bridal satin dress. Mind you, that's only her first change. Later part of the evening, she wore a red knee length Coast tube dress. Stunning!

This i had no idea at all.

We had real 'paparazzi' but not enough. So this made up for the lack of media attention.

Pretty but very disturbing balloons. I wasn't the only one who felt that way.

Yours truly was 'emcee' for the night.

I'd initially planned to play Rancic from E! News for the night going around asking the infamous red carpet question,

'So tell me...who are you wearing?'

But lets face it, this is not the right/real occasion.

Got back from Penang about an hour ago and here I am, not sleeping like I would. Beside staying up to be bitten all over by mosquitoes, I have a damn good reason to be up.

Appalam, the movie

Afdlin Shauki's nailed it again with the remake of 'Papadom', a local Tamil movie in 24 years. Dudes.. it was good. I was there at the Appalam launch this evening. They had Appalam pillows at our seats which I took home and has come in very handy for my back. During the press conference, someone commented saying the movie was even more entertaining than Enthiran and heck, I couldn't agree more. I loved it.
Appalam, however, is not as tear jerking as Papadom *phew*. I was afraid I might have needed tissue. They did a really good job with casting. The actors can act (hey, it's not easy pulling off expressions from Tamil movie scene... it's not. You try!). Just I don't think the dad looks old enough, Shruti looks too old and the wig on Jaclyn Victor who played mum looks very unnatural. The main cast who played Shruti is really pretty in person. This awesome movie should be out soon..

I just got home from Endhiran premiere. There was so much hype bo ut this movie cos its the "first Tamil sci-fi movie" with the highest budget, starring the legendary 60 yr old Rajinikanth as a genius professor and the young gorgeous Aishwarya Rai as his super hot girlfriend (who's half his age in reality). I had so much to critic throughout the movie but now I just can't remember them. Great. Some parts were impressive and some parts I wished would just end soon. The 2nd half of the movie made the 3 hour movie felt like 5hours. I literally wished the robots would just die in the end. If the movie's a hit, it's Rajnikanth. If it's a flop, it's just a Shankar's movie.

I know it's FATE when the last pair of plain full suede Hush Puppies's limited edition ballet pumps that I've always had eyes on comes in the colour that I want and fit my feet perfectly. It must be FATE when they tell me that HP branch only has one colour from supposedly many to choose from. I know it!

Fell in love with this line since it first came to Malaysia. It was selling for RM 120 sth and I thought i should patiently for their promo and get a pair at below a hundred. It would have been a damn good buy. Recently I went back to a HP store and they were on sales. Shocked, I was when I saw the desired pair priced at RM199. Wtf. A mark up price before sales?!

Later I found out that they've discontinued that line and the remainder in stores have been tagged as limited edition. Hence, the hike in price, I assume.

\Paid more but wtv. It's so comfy and almost weightless.

Hari Raya was a few days ago. I followed my aunt's family visiting houses. Dapat juga duit raya. Ate a LOT.

and... I hear the gym calling me these days. It's a good thing. I bought an exercise tube (my new "toy"). Uncle Ed says it's the same one he was about to recommend me. Made ONE good decision there!

Luffy's returned from Yemen and he brought me what I'd like to believe is Yemeni's best coffee. hehe. Not a coffee person but looks like I'll be drinking much of it once I open it. I'm sure others in the house would help me finish em.

New sem's begun. Tell me I'm not digging my own grave by takin 4 killer subjects plus a design class. :S

College is in one week and I'd have to say farewell to alcohol, the beach.. D'Beach, and my babes :(

Good thing i got my dose of the sun at least before i leave.

Tanning in August defo means sth to me. The last time i was badly burned from sun basking was about the same time last year. Bad for the skin but i love it. I had to get my tan again. So Nicole, Darylene and I headed up to Alila to get our tan instead of going to the beach. Of course nothing beats salt water, sand, and sound of waves but the view's just as good there. It's the same sun anyway.

I drove an hour and a half to Queensbay from Batu Feringgi the other day to meet up with Carol, Shona, & Eileen.

It was the friggin jam on Greenlane at 12pm. So don't crown me Ms Slowpoke just yet.

When I got there, I saw Shona first. She looked fine. As for the other two, they decided to surprise me with their makeover by jumping out from behind the pillar. lol

We had lunch, chat bout our lives and shopped a bit.

They successfully persuaded me to join the CliniqueStarTour makeover. Thank you much! No regrets, girls.

None of us got to semi-finals but it's okay cos we did it for fun anyway.

Gayle's one of the sweetest I've met in HELP so far. She turned 22 on the 11th but we celebrated this afternoon at Bianco. We had pizza, pasta and cake :D

I would have missed my city tour and Gayle's birthday lunch if I had gone back to Penang on Mon. However, I'll be going back tomorrow alone cos dad can only drive on Friday. By then, Jon would be back in KL and his trip would be a waste cause I promised to go around Penang with him. At the same time, I still wished I could stay longer in KL.

Projek Angkat Rumah

Decades ago, right here in Malaysia, when families still live in kampung houses, they would shift their houses when they want to move. Like lift then shift. Awesome right? Liew Seng Tat, the filmaker, decided to carry out this 'angkat rumah' project in conjunction with this year Urbanscapes which involved more than 200 hundred people and I was among the priviledged to join.

And at last.. at KLPAC.

We started off near the SK Sentul Utama. Made our way carrying the house all the way to Sentul Park. It wasn't all smooth. Overhead bridges, sign boards, and hanging cables were obstacles along the way.

and even a bus. That's right! The house had to pass a narrow road and a freaking bus was parked by that road. The house couldn't pass through so the police 'broke into' the bus and we went ahead with moving the bus out of the way. Towards the end we started singing...BALIK KAMPUNG...OoOOoOOoo BALIK KAMPUNG!

The house weigh a tonne if I'm not mistaken.With that many people carrying as can be seen from the pictures, each person only carried a few kgs. 1? 2kg? It was like morning exercise with light weights :) oh, and free tanning too!

That's about it. I didn't stay long for Urbanscapes after that. I picked up a free can of beer before I left :D so i don't think i missed much. haha

Ok. Who am I kiddin? I missed the drama workshop! Ugh! It's okay. There's always next year.

As mentioned in my previous entry, my class would be campaigning Cervical Cancer Awareness in college this week.

MACROECONOMICS projectf, ya'l. So we didn have big plans but we did manage to make it bigger than planned.

As long as you have a cervix and no HPV vaccination,

you are at risk.

Magd's idea to hop on the shutter bus and attack the passengers for donation.

Among the merchandizes were wristbands, ribbon pins, postcards, dogtag chains, earrings paired with necklace, and the Relay For Life t-shirts.

The campaign went on for two days. After day one, I was total drained out from it. I heard the other group did their campaign for only two hours in one day. Booooooo!! So in a way, we took the extra mile, just for charity :) It's an awareness campaign after all. If it doesn't leave an impact, why bother campaigning? It was only right that we did a proper one for the cause itself, not for the sake of putting on a good show for the judges.

I love outdoor campaigns.

We wanted to collect handprints initially instead of just signatures but we were afraid the passerbys wn't be willing to get their hand dirty so we stuck to the signature banner.

This whole week has been rather fulfilling.

On monday..
Friends & I paid National Cancer Society, Malaysia a visit to check on the help they could provide us for our campaign on Cervical Cancer which will be held next Wednesday in front of KPD A. Ms.Rozeeta who attended to us was very helpful and friendly. She made our jobs so much easier. I was beginning to think we were asking for too much. From flyers, to buntings, to donation box. and they were more than willing to lend us anything they could. I also learned to pronounce cervical as cer-VAI-cle.

Tuesday..
After skipping lots of morning classes, finally attending one was special. I remember being very happy that morning cos not only did I wake up for that class but I arrived in class before time. Back at home, I went to the gym and injured a muscle. left hamstring up to my rear end. Had to stay still for a while. I nearly passed out.

Wednesday..
Skipped my class for NTV7 career talk and newcasting audition. I missed some parts of the event because I had an errand to run. I had about 15 minutes to my turn for the audition by the time I got back. But it was enough to prepare. Later at night, I went to Jia's for bbq. Awesome night. It was one of the lucky nights I get to drink yet I didn have enough. I shall wait till holiday comes.

Thursday..
I wore a dress. no fun.

Friday..
I don't remember anything but going to class, sleep, wake up and do plies.

Here I am typing out my week. Later in the day I should be attending mass followed by a promised dinner.

My upcoming class project is an awareness campaign on CERVICAL CANCER. As a marcomm student, I won't fret much cause organizing a campaign should be fun. I'm just not happy that we only have a few weeks to do it..and what for? Just to write a report on how the awareness campaign can help with the GDP growth of our country. That's right. Noone would have guessed that this project is a macroeconomics class assignment. We have only 2 weeks left to prepare. The short sem really is what it is, short.

I wish we had more time to make this campaign huge.

With only 3 weeks to finals, I should be panicking. There's a campaign to run, a persuasive speech to prepare, marketing groupwork, two group presentations, and another groupwork.

Today, Wednesday of week 4, marks the mid of this sem. It's a crazy short sem and I'm crazy to be doing 3 subjects. Finally feeling the weight of it.

I just realised that when you take the same subject twice with different lecturers, you can tell whether a student who fails to understand lacks the brains and effort or it's really the lecturer who lacks ability to deliver the lessons.

As it turns out, macroeconomics is actually very interesting. Why'd some educators have to ruin the subject, make it boring?? I'm doing macroecons this semester, which makes it my second attempt in learning this subject.

Back in Form 6, the days i suffered (because school gave me a tough time, not because Form 6 is tough-it's not!), I had an inadequate crybaby economics teacher-who just started teaching-who's Malay-who's soft-who's SLOW-who just gets on my nerves just thinking of her! I shall save my rant on highschool for another post.

So in comparison, Econs is so much nicer to learn now :) It makes so much sense like-never-before.

Nobody's happy learning when they hate their teachers. Well, I don't love this lecturer who's teaching me now, but i'm happy and it's all thanks to the sucky f6 teacher I had. Anyone else is better.

I have always dreamed my first to be a Tiff & Co's. Well, Sabo's just as pretty thanks to my generous aunt and uncle. There were many good looking charms to choose from but I had to prioritize significance over looks. The cassette was chosen first (if you know me you'd know why) followed by three others that were no less significant. I love it!

Exam was so damn teruk that I came home with a hangover. All I wanted to do when I got home was sleep but I've been up since then.

Went to the night market. I didn't know what to wear to the market at first. So I went to my closet. Then suddenly, the magical fabric scissors appeared. So instead of diggin my cupboard for sth to wear, i pulled out my oversize Tshirt(although it's labelled 'S') and thought of ways I could cut the shirt. hehehe

I've been wanting to do this for awhile so I willingly sacrificed my sleep.

So yes, a pair of scissors, a tshirt and brains got the job done.

I decided to work on this particular shirt cos I love what it says but it looks bloody boring and I wanted to add a hint of rebellion to it.

Big shirts which says 'S' just makes you think that you'll fit into size 'XXS'.
False hope much.

Anyway, I took so long cos I am sss-low. ~~I look like shit and~~

I remember waking up countless times only to sleep again.

I feel like a kid who keeps getting drunk too quick; a kid with zero tolerance who doesn't stop drinking thinking he can handle alcohol. He'd still be cool if only he sticks to orange juice.

That's like me when pulling an all nighter. It won't happen unless I'm up surfing the net for reasons other than studying.

Business Admin Project

We presented our little business project to the class two days ago. It went very well I'd say. The project we did was selling zorbing rides. We manage to sell about 20 rides with last minute advertising..

Zorbing for those who taktau, is an outdoor activity where you roll down a hill strapped inside a giant inflated globe. In Taman Tasik Titiwangsa, where our project was done, it's not steep enough so there were men running along with the zorb ball while pushing it to keep the ball rolling.

The ride was fun but it was only 70m short. I'd like to try the longer one at Gemas some time. It's 250m long yaw...

I was so excited the night before, I packed my tanning lotion, noseclip and goggles but I lupa bawa towel. I ended up having to dry myself off under the sun. Nothing I brought came in handy. I don't know what I was thinking bringing all those inessentials.

I look so terrified. Shouldn't have laughed to hard at the others.

So much went through my mind at first like how and when to breathe but when it ride began, it wasn't that bad. I screamed as long as I could. Dramatic much. I remember cursing throughout the whole ride.

"f*ck! f*ck! f*ck! f*ck! f*ck.....!"

ok.So that was a short recap on my zorbing business experience. I'm glad it's over. We did it! We made some moolah! Now,

I'm going off to bed. Night.

Watchin Hua Mulan, a movie similar to Disney's version. On my mind is my unsubmitted assignment which due a week ago. *sigh* my friends are just friends, but when it comes to business or assignments, they are strangers.

I'm watching the part where Wentai cries out for Mulan after the storm and he thought she died. This part's so funny. I was thinking, how'd he find her when they all look alike. lol.

My favourite part of the movie is when they sang this:
